The stop will culminate with a $100,000 Guaranteed Main Event, which will see the winner take home a custom “Road to the RunGood Cup” Seiko Watch.

'PokerNews is excited to once again be the live coverage provider for the RunGood Poker Series,' said PokerNews Editor-in-Chief Donnie Peters. 'With an affordable $675 buy-in, but a big $100,000 guarantee, the Main Event is a great tournament for players of all levels. We look forward to a fun-filled competition with plenty of money to be won.'

In addition, on Saturday, August 29th at 10 a.m., RunGood Pro Bernard Lee will host a free tournament seminar.

'The best way to describe the RunGood Poker series is to recall a conversation I had with one of the poker room managers a while back,' said Tana Karn, Founder and President of RunGoodGear.com. 'They were speaking with a player about upcoming events and was asked 'When does that feel good series come back?'

Last year, the RunGood Poker Series made headlines when it crushed its $100,000 guarantee in the $675 Main Event at Horseshoe Casino. That tournament attracted 426 entries, created a prize pool of $251,340, and saw Henry Gingerichtake home a $39,083 first-place prize plus a $10,000 seat into the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Ameristar Casino Council Bluffs

First, I've played in a lot of rooms across the US and have never found one that is worse then my home casino. The rake is higher than most, but more importantly they have zero customer skills and a few horrible dealers that they keep for some reason. To give a example, I was getting nowhere with the new manager while I was trying to discuss some problems. Three times he told me he would call me back and never did. I then requested to meet with him and his boss. After I communicated my concerns, his boss told me he thinks me and other regulars should be ambassadors for his room ! You kidding me, you want me to tell people how great it is here when you treat us poorly. This is how they handled my complaint, by saying we should be nicer and tell people how great it is!!!! They are very inconsistent about there rulings, more than anyone else. It is a beautiful room that could be a awesome poker room. Im a player who eat, sleeps and thinks about poker all the time, I would play 3 to 5 times a week there. I now only play when big events come to the room, I wish you knew how much that says, I live for poker and go without cause I have such disdain for this place. They have scared off a lot of people with their customer service skills. Would never recommend this place unless it is when the WSOP is there using their own managers and dealers. It truly sucks not being able to play daily but I just go to KC to get my fix now.....
